Voting by Dart
In Indonesian elections, voters use a nail to punch a hole in the face of their preferred candidate. Only those ballot papers with one hole are valid.
The ballot papers used yesterday consisted of a long sheet of folded paper that did not need to be fully opened for voters to see all five candidates. Millions of voters yesterday punched a hole that went through their preferred candidate and on through another part of the paper containing voting information. Many of those votes were initially declared invalid.
You punch a hole in the face of your preferred candidate? How counter-intuitive is that? They should make the voters draw devil horns on all the candidates they don’t want, and a halo on the one they do. Then there’d be no confusion.

1) there are far more muslims in Indonesia than there are christians 2) All religious pictures of mohammud have his face scratched out.
Maybe it’s not such a dumb idea after all?

Hmm … perhaps not the best joke I ever made … but you could substitute a more culturally appropriate form of graffiti, and it would still be funny(ish).
